Across 14 trials with 4,530 participants, 11 of 25 treatments had a clearly better result than placebo on HbA1c change, and for 14 the evidence could not tell them apart from placebo. The most favorable estimate was for Ecnoglutide 1.2 mg injection once weekly: mean difference -1.79 percentage points (95% credible interval -2.52 to -0.94).
